Welcome to Wellington College's archives

Wellington College, founded as a living memorial to Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, was opened in 1859, and our digital archive contains material from the foundation right up to the present day.

Material which can be seen here includes:

· The Wellingtonian magazine, 1868-present

· The College Year Book, 1891-present

· 1948 Wellington College Register, listing all students to have attended the College to that date

· The Roll of Wellington College, a termly list of students by set and subject, 1859-1930

· Wellington Roll of Honour 1939-1945

· Edward White Benson’s original scrapbook chronicling his time at Wellington (1859-1873)

· Report of the Royal Commission into Wellington College, 1880

· A large quantity of College and dormitory photograph albums and other photographic material
